Questions
My US LLC had no income. Do I still have to file?
Yes. A foreign-owned single-member LLC must file Form 5472 with a pro forma Form 1120 every year, income or not. The penalty for missing it is $25,000. Most states also require an annual report.
Do I pay US tax on my LLC income?
It depends on where you live, what you sell and whether you have a US presence. Many non-resident owners owe no US income tax but still have to file. We assess this before you form the company, not after.
What about UAE corporate tax?
The UAE charges 9% corporate tax on profits above AED 375,000. Qualifying free zone income can still be taxed at 0%, but registration and filing are required either way. We handle registration, bookkeeping and the annual return.
Can one bookkeeper handle both companies?
Yes. We keep one set of books per entity, in one system, so your UAE VAT return and your US filings come from the same reconciled numbers.
